Skiers Choice Dealer Awards
MARYVILLE, TN (August 3, 2009) ~ Skier’s Choice Inc, manufacturer of Supra and Moomba tournament towboats, just completed its annual Dealer Meeting. This year’s Dealer Meeting was held via webcast over 7 different days and was attended by over 95% of all dealers worldwide. The new format allowed dealers to receive all the new and vital information regarding the upcoming year, without ever leaving their office.

Heber Springs Wakefest, the grass roots tourney that rivaled the pro tour.The event kicked off this last Saturday early at 8am. It was one of the only tournaments we have been to with an opening ceremony. National Anthem, flags flying, and power turns started it all off with a bang. The event had high expectations seeing as the entire town pitched in to really boost this year’s competition with a prize pool of over $17,000. Riders from around the country came in for their chance of taking home some of the pot. It was set up as a best of two runs tourney, with the top ten competing in the finals for the cash. The site was amazingly set up with many local vendors, 5 food vendors, and around 50 sponsors. A rail jam went down on sat night right off the beach which most of the pros entered. There was also a double up contest where Phillip Soven and Brad Smeele both went for 1080’s and Brad landed one but slipped out soon after landing to the point where it didn’t count. Shaun Murray took home $500 for big air on the double up, and Phillip Soven took home $500 for best trick landing a toe 900. Overall there was more talent than Arkansas has ever seen in its beautiful state. With riders such as Shaun Murray, Zane Schwenk, Austin Hair, Phillip Soven, Brad Smeele, Trevor Hansen, Joey Bradley and a few other pro riders, the competition was fierce but the true talent took the podium.

Heber Springs Wakefest
Diamond Lakes WaterSports would like you invite you to the Heber Springs Wakefestthis Saturday and Sunday, August 1st and 2nd at the Sandy Beach area of Greers Ferry Lake.
Top name pros such as Phillip Soven, Shaun Murray, Trevor Hansen, Zane Schwenk, Austin Hair, and more will be there competiting and hanging out with the crowds. Here is the schedule of events:

Clay Fraley national champion!!!
Congrats to Diamond Lakes team rider Clay Fraley. He competed at the WWA Nationals this past week and took home first place in jr mens. This win qualifies him to ride at the WWA Worlds in Orlando later this year. Congrats and good luck!!!!
4th of July Weekend
Just a notice that will be open REDUCED hours on Saturday, July 4th. Instead of our normal business hours, we will be open 9:00 to 12:00 noon.
After closing on Saturday, we will be on Degray around the Arlie Moore/Oak Bower area for most of the day on Saturday and Sunday. We will have a boat load of equipment available to demo. Just waive us over.
